HISTORY
The owner of Casa del Angel is Senor Lou, an avid collector of Mexican art. Several years ago, he built Casa del Angel or "House of the Angel" as a sanctuary where in to relax and display his collection of paintings by local SMA artists. Senor Lou is very active in the retirement community and hosts many of the town’s social events at Casa del Angel. In 2007, his son and daughter in law, Steven and Cynthia, converted Casa del Angel into the Inn.
Senor Lou’s dedication and perfect eye for detail shines through in all corners of the house, from its individualized room decorations to the beautiful landscaped courtyards. Staying at the Casa del Angel is a truly memorable experience. The owners pride themselves on taking excellent care of their guests and making them feel at home from the first moment they step onto the property.
Inspired by their style and imagery, each room at Casa Del Angel is named after a well-known San Miguel painter, and their artwork can be found in the rooms.
